Well we are on our way to Switzerland. Our plane to Washington Dulles was an hour late so we had an awesome 10 minutes to get to our international flight to Geneva. Thanks United! The above picture was taken out our window as we approached Geneva. We got the usual couple hours of uncomfortable sleep so we are feeling awesome.

Once in Geneva we found our way to the trains and caught the 8:49am train to Bern. (Which is 3:49am Saturday morning Austin time) I’m writing this from the train as we approach Bern. At Bern we’ll change trains on our way to Interlaken. As seems to be the standard in Europe we have 6 minutes to change trains? (..but we can catch the next train if necessary)

Well it turns out 6 minutes was enough, I guess the Swiss have their shit together on that one. Poor Kelly did have to haul her 44 pound suitcase up a few stairs. All’s well that ends well as we finally ended up here:

So we are about 24 hours in to our travel adventure with two hours of sleep and we only need to stay up for 9 more hours….
